Dr. Kevin Maeda

Dentist in Seal Beach

Born and raised in Redlands, California, Dr. Maeda is a true Southern California native with a strong foundation in both education and athletics. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Pepperdine University, where he also competed as a Division I Cross Country and Track athlete.

Dr. Maeda went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at UCLA. During his time there, he was one of only 12 students selected for the prestigious Venice Restorative Clerkship, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in general dentistry. Following his D.D.S., Dr. Maeda completed his General Practice Residency at Loma Linda VA Hospital, where he had the privilege of serving veterans and honing his skills in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, implant surgery, and prosthodontics.

He is passionate about providing high-quality dental care and is deeply committed to building lasting relationships with his patients. As he often says, “They won’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” His goal is always your comfort and happiness, and he looks forward to meeting and getting to know each of you.

When he’s not practicing dentistry, Dr. Maeda enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife, trying new foods, attending LA Kings and Dodgers games, running, working out, and going on adventures with his two dogs, Frank and Charlie.
